Start by creating a job. Give it a name, tag the scope (kitchen remodel, full custom build, basement finish), and choose whether it is a hard bid or a cost-plus estimate. Then add your categories like Framing, Electrical, Cabinets, and set a budget for each one. Mudroom instantly starts tracking your estimated vs actual so you always know where you stand before the next lumber run.

Track every dollar from the field

Every time you buy materials, open Mudroom and hit Scan Receipt. Point your camera at any receipt and the AI reads every line item, quantity, unit cost and total in about 4 seconds. Review it, make any edits you want, and hit Trust. It is logged under the right job and category automatically. Labor gets tracked the same way: add hours, assign to a worker, and Mudroom calculates the cost.
